Palm Springs Girls Getaway

Move over skyscrapers, I'm trading you in for palm trees and mountains. Just kidding. Palm Springs is though, in it's entirety, a gorgeous place to visit, especially for a girls getaway trip. With the weather getting to an average high of 70, and myself easing into a new age of 25, the three highlights of the trip this December was visiting the Desert Hills Premium Outlet, The Parker Palm Springs Hotel, and Eight4Nine Restaurant & Lounge.

The Desert Hills Premium Outlet is hands down a little slice of heaven that the shopping gods have bestowed upon us. I'm talking Kate Spade and Michael Kors, 60%-70% off the entire store! From Lululemon to Burberry to Express, we only made it through half of the pristine directory. Make sure to make a pit stop at the exit right before the mall entrance to see the Cabazon Dinosaurs!

If you're looking for a place to stay in Palm Springs, or to just have a fun photoshoot like we did, I highly recommend The Parker Palm Springs hotel. Featuring a unique, fun, California-meets-modern-daydream decor, The Parker Palm Springs is a must-see.

The esthetic of the hotel was vibrant, with my favorite part being the lip art featured up the staircase to the rooms.

The hotel features 5 bars: Norma's - breakfast all day on the hotel's terrace, Mister Parker's - Gatsby meets cocktails, Counter Reformation - a wine bar that has it's own confessional booth, Mini Bar - mirrored intimacy located in the lobby, and Lemonade Stand - accessible for poolside drinks.

Aside from the drinking amenities, the grounds feature lavish gardens, three pools, two tennis courts, croquet, a fitness studio, spa, and even giant chess! We were lucky enough to have a private tour of the property, with the outcome living up to the hype of the establishment.

My new Modern Icon Bijoux Convertible Satchel from Henri Bendel even made it out for the walk through!

Saving the best for last: food. Eight4Nine, a contemporary - modernly pink - restaurant and lounge is the perfect hot spot.  I recommend the caramel bread pudding for desert - it features bacon sprinkles on top!

Until next time Palm Springs.
